Ipad 2.0

The most anticipated gadget of 2010 is the Ipad, with a million sales allready in the us and it has just hit the uk stores. Is it too early to be talking about the Ipad2.0. We know of many things we would want in the next Ipad that apple would just dismis but they may apear in other devices.
So let's talk about some of those idea's for the Ipad2.0 starting of with easier typing, at the moment we have to put the Ipad down to type so what about rear touchpads at the left and right edges? This would make typing easier as you cab us two hands to type. The next idea more storage this is a obvious one with 32gb as the baseline and 128gb for the top end models. The thrid idea is a USB slot with the lack of USB ports in the ipad which is a big fault in my eyes I see this a bug update in the ipad unless we can update wirelessly (more on this later). Multitasking it is in the iPhone 4.0 is so why not in the ipad maybe they didn't get around to doing it who knows. The next idea is a front camera so you could use iChat or skype as they are usefull to business as they will be able to do video conferances. Sync via wifi, if apple hate USB so much why don't they able us to sync via wifi.
There are many other ideas floating around these are just a few.

First artical: anorexia

After being in a mental hospital and seeing what anorexia does to people first hand, I see anorexia as a serious problem in teenagers all because of the Internet and fashion magazines promoting skinny is pretty. Anorexics minds think they are fat even tho they are skinny, they feel the constant need to excercise and they can stop eating for days. It's not good for the body to be starved of food and nutrients.

One major cause for all this is fashion magazines sucks a vogue, they promote skinny is pretty, they show models who are really skinny and below there natural weight. Even tho there are rules for models about there weight it doesn't stop girls wanting to be like a model, young girls look up to models but the models don't set a good example, they bring out fad diets and ways to get skinny faster all this feeds an anorexics mind making them worse. A perfect model doesn't have to be a size zero to be sucessful, people need to see this. If magazines like vogue should use bigger models and show bigger size clothing, I think this would help decrease the number of people getting anorexia as young girls would see being big is still pretty.

The Internet is another big cause for anorexia, there are loads of websites dedicated to losing weight and diets. You can also buy drugs that help you lose weight. I know you can't allways moniter people Internet use all the time but we could shut down some of more serious and extreme websites. Chat rooms are also a big problem, anorexics group up in these chat rooms and swap information on what helps them lose weight, if we could shut down these it would cut out a big problem and would help anorexics alot.

We can combat anorexia easily if we hit the main source fashion magazines and the Internet. We could convince fashion magazines to use bigger models.

Anorexia is a disease people don't choose to get it and people need to see that, therenis alot of stigma about mental health as people seam to think they are just playing up, there messing around that they can be normal the next day. With anorexia the brain thinks that the person is fat even tho they are skinny and that they must lose weight. We are not going to cure anorexia but atleast we can help prevent it, we need people to stop bringing out radical diets and promoting that super skinny. A perfect woman should be nice and curvy not flesh and bones.
